John H. McCall, Jr.
Associate Vice President for Finance and ControllerJohn McCall is the Associate Vice President for Finance and Controller for Texas A&M University and is responsible for leading and directing accounting and financial services. He has placed particular emphasis on identifying, analyzing, and leading key accounting and financial initiatives, operational controls, and accountability measures. In addition, he has established a vision to be a model for accounting and financial services through continuous process improvement, efficiency initiatives, and a culture of collaborative teamwork and delivering results.
John is a native Texan, a graduate of The McCombs School of Business at The University of Texas at Austin, and holds an MBA from UT Dallas.
Dr. Brian McGinley
Dr. Brian McGinley is the Assistant Vice President for Finance & University Contracts Officer in the Controller’s Office within the Division of Finance at Texas A&M University. He oversees Procurement Services including the HUB Program, Contract Administration, Logistics Services, and Strategic Sourcing and these units strive to safeguard Texas A&M from a variety of risks and deliver seamless customer service through process transparency and efficiency focusing on value-add tasks.
Before joining Texas A&M in 2023, he served as the Division Chief of Business Services at the Texas Division of Emergency Management, where he managed Purchasing, Contracts, Grant Administration, and Travel. Prior to that role, he served as the Contracting Officer for East Texas A&M University and earlier as an SBIR/STTR Program Lead at NASA’s Stennis Space Center.
Dr. McGinley holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Southern Mississippi, a Graduate Certificate in Homeland Security from the Bush School of Government & Public Service at Texas A&M University, and both an MBA and a DBA from Columbia Southern University.
Bryan Townsend '03
Bryan Townsend is the Executive Director and Associate Controller of University Accounting Services at Texas A&M University. He oversees financial reporting, banking, state and student accounting, e-commerce, reconciliations, and tax compliance functions. His team is responsible for preparing the university’s Annual Financial Report (AFR) and managing assets.
Bryan joined Texas A&M University in 2006 and has held various leadership roles during his tenure. He previously served as the Executive Director of Finance and Administration at Texas A&M University in Qatar, where he successfully managed the Business Operations office and oversaw all budgeting and financial reporting for the Doha branch campus. Earlier in his career, he led the Facilities Services Accounting Office at Texas A&M, where he gained extensive experience in budgeting and financial management, including preparing multi-million-dollar budgets and overseeing accounts payable and receivable.
Bryan holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Texas A&M University and a Master of Business Administration.
Jennifer Lightfoot
Jennifer Lightfoot is the Executive Director for Student Business Services at Texas A&M University. She is responsible for leading and directing all student-related business activities for Texas A&M-College Station, Texas A&M Galveston, and Texas A&M Health Science Center, including the assessment of fees, billing, and collection, sponsored billing, waivers/exemptions, refunds, ID cards, loan administration, and annual reporting.
Jennifer's experience in the software and accounting industry has enabled her to evaluate and improve tools used to serve students and parents. She is a member of various higher education advisory councils and a board member of the Bursars of the Association of American Universities. She continues to propel Texas A&M as a leader in automating the Bursar's office.
Jennifer has a B.B.A. in Accounting from Sam Houston State University.
Clint Merritt
Clint Merritt is the Executive Director of Financial Management Operations in the Division of Finance and Business Services. He has worked for Texas A&M University for 27 years, all within Financial Management Operations.
Clint has emphasized high standards of efficiency, integrity, innovation, customer satisfaction, ensuring financial compliance, and accountability for Texas A&M University and its constituents.
Kayleigh Hendrix
Kayleigh is the Assistant Director of Cost & Analysis (CSTA) at Texas A&M University, where she is responsible for overseeing Service Center Rate Reviews, assisting in rate calculations, facilitating and managing shared service contracts, and ensuring effective cost allocation and management of the University's infrastructure agreements.
Since joining Texas A&M in 2022, she has focused on systemizing processes and expanding the department's reach to foster collaboration and consistency across Texas A&M University System (TAMUS) service centers. She is committed to achieving the highest standards in compliance, customer service, and sustainability while enhancing financial operations through strategic partnerships.
A Texas native, Kayleigh holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor in Business Administration from Texas A&M University and is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Accounting at Texas A&M.
